I asked a young man if I could get a hamburger basket. Note to management, not everyone likes, wants, or can eat cheese on their burgers. I asked for a hamburger meal since only cheeseburger meals are listed on the menu. I did have a rude encounter with a worker at the Yum Yum Cafe. Be aware that the park is cashless, so have a credit card with you. Unfortunately, a few rides were closed on this visit. There is a nice selection of rides, especially in the coaster line up. I can say that the park is clean, and most employees are fairly friendly. I have been to this park many times, with one friend or another. I could go on and on with complaints but I won’t bother because I know no one cares anyway but I hate this place. I took off so I could go there during the week because the weekends are too crowded and they won’t reimburse me for the 35 dollars that I paid for parking. I live 2 hours away and I don’t have any time off. I wish they told me that first thing when I first got there because I could have done other things rather than being dragged along by six flags staff. it was a total waste of a day and all they kept saying was well your tickets are still good you can come back another time. Well 1:30 came and went than they said they didn’t know when they were going to open. than around noon they said it will open at 1:30. after waiting for about an half hour they than said it should be open within the next hour. I understand that the power outage is out of their control but what they could have done is be honest with us and tell us that the park isn’t going to open today and tell us to go home but instead at 10:30 am they tell us that it’s a minor delay. today I took off from work to go to great adventure just to get there and find out that their is a power outage. every time I come here it’s a horrible experience.
